Amber MacGregor
Amber MacGregor is an artist and arts educator in Victoria BC Canada, working with gratitude on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish People.
Amber's current work is primarily digital and analog drawing and cyanotype prints. She has been working on an ongoing collaborative project since 2017 with poet Astrid van der Pol, titled The Dead Can Swim. More can be found about this work at www.thedeadcanswim.com. The Dead Can Swim was first shown at errant artSpace in May of 2023, for the weekends of May 20, 21 and 27, 28.
Amber teaches visual arts, photography, media and digital arts at secondary and post-secondary levels in Victoria BC. Canada; and runs a teaching studio, Wintersweet Studio at errant artSpace that specializes in 2D processes such as: cyanotype, drawing, painting, and visual journaling.
